Legionwizard
Well I feel a bit stupid asking this, but I'm interested in getting my for too long neglected mage level up (85 now). I know stunning and using lunar spells ain't really my thing. So I wonder how combat oriented people would level it. What monsters slayer wise are good to use magic spells on, and which spells? I don't mind camping monsters, but I rather not resort to ice bursting zombies or anything similar in ct. Bursting lobs I find a bit hard as I'm easily crashable due to not having access to ice barrage. I believe momentarily my only income of magic exp is teleporting and barrowing. I have all the tokens required for an arcane stream. Stats are in sig. Achieved quest (07/08/2009), woodcutting (28/06/2010), attack (21/07/2010), strength + constitution (07/08/2010), defence (26/09/2010), summoning (13/01/2011), herblore (03/03/2011), cook (31/08/2012), firemaking (01/09/2012), magic (08/09/2012), prayer (16/09/2012) and ranged (29/10/2012) capes. Pepsiguy
i think all the demons (lesser, greater, black) have the weakness to magic The once was a mexican called pepsi,Or maybe it's just he had Hep C,He was a pretty cool bro,Bros generally are you know,He hailed from the land of 'taters,He was known to hate many-a-hater,He likes a girl named Lacey,His thoughts about her are kind of racy,And also his dad likes to [rooster]. blakdragon39
I found maging metal dragons to be a lot of fun. :D It's very quick as well. I'm not sure how profitable, but with the price of dragon bones, it's probably worth if it you're looking to get mage exp.
Hegelstad
I didn't think people were crashing lobsters so much? But anyway, i would still burst at the 7lob spot than maging in single combat, its just 15-20% worse than the 9 lob spot, but luring is dead simple. My lame drops:6 Effigys1 D Med - 1 D Dagger1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody

My first attempt I had to hop round 15+ worlds and got crashed when I found one after my first lure. Then again, I was doing it on a Saturday :/. That aside, I momentarily don't have the time to play much during the week anyway, just on weekends. I had been thinking of maging metal drags, with yaks it's probably a good choice. I don't care too much about efficiency right now, I'll go dks and such later on when I've achieved eliteness. Hegelstad
Im maging steel dragons for slayer atm, its very easy, but not very fun tbh, mediocre exp. My lame drops:6 Effigys1 D Med - 1 D Dagger1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody
Obtaurian
I mage-slayed from 86-97 magic. Just use the highest level surge you can scroll to (wolpertinger scrolls). Some monsters are un-mage-able, like waterfiends, dark beasts, spirit mages, wyverns, and spectres. I also wouldn't recommend maging miths. You should consider getting soul split. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
