What constitutes direct interaction?

I know I asked this before but I just wanted to make sure again and get more opinions.

Say I have some [insert item being merched here], can I trade it to my friend and have him trade it to another of my accounts? Is that direct interacting? Is that against the rules?

Can I give items to another player from one of my accounts, so that they can then give the items to another character that I play?

 

No, this goes against the rule. You may not transfer items between your accounts in any way.
