brickwall32 Posted December 16, 2005 Share Posted December 16, 2005 I would have to concur that a sling shot is a relatively absurd idea, a sling would be a much better usage of it. A sling would be made, of course, of a piece of leather. The question is, where would you get the shot for it. There are several options open for the ammuntion for slings. Clay-Mine some clay, soften it, roll it into balls, then heat. Rock- I know there is limestone out there, and I remember some junk rocks you could mine, plus the granite thing. Metal- You could make the shot from bars, or maybe just one, such as a cannon only has steel, maybe a sling would use iron.
