Does anyone have this similar problem? it seams that i cannot complete the task: "smith a rune hasta on Otto's anvil."

i'm using a rune bar + a magic log, i do the spear, but afterward the completion message doesn't show up.

The task remains uncompleted in the diary.

is it on otto's anvil? just being sure cause you didn't explicitly state it.

yes it on otto's anvil, i don't think that they let you smith spears on the normal anvils.

The diary says smith a hasta, you say hasta and spear in your first post, they are both the same lvl and look similar, are you smithing a spear instead of the hasta?

Believe you need to do a quest to be able to make hastas.

I think you only need to complete the Barbarian training in order to smith Hastas. Don't think Tai Bwo Wannai Trio has anything to do with it, other then being able to poison spears with KP poison.

Yeah, you said you're making a spear, so make sure you're making the actual hasta. Because they're two different weapons. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in. And if that doesn't work, submit a bug report.

you cannot smith spears ever, so that can't be the problem

I remember having to complete the quest before I could make the other hasta(in the training part).

wait so you can actually smith a hasta?

because when i try to smith something on Otto's anvil, it asks for a certain type of log.

i belive that the wood wraps the metal hasta- creating a spear.

 

 

and yes you have to do the tai bwo wannai quest-done. and i've done the barbarian training.
