Levelling Cooking?

Hey,

 

 

Right now my cooking is a pitiful 41.

 

I want to know what my quickest way would be to level with either profit or minimal loss.

 

I have around 14mil at the moment.

Try salmon and trout. Both are pretty cheap. Then, once you get 50, tuna works pretty well. I would say fish your own trout and salmon, because it is so easy, and barbarian villiage with banking at edge is not too bad. Then, buy the tuna. At 73 cooking, switch to lobsters.

For only 20 more cooking xp per fish, lobsters lose money while tuna breaks even; I did 1-90 cooking in F2P and while most of it was lobsters, I'm not sure whether it was worth it (seeing as how my best moneymaker was GOP)

 

Edit: Now that I think about it, when I had a ton of lobsters banked, the Karamja lobster-noting update came out, causing lobsters to crash. That might have been the main source of my loss

I agree with squareroot2 about wine. It's great exp but grapes can be annoying to get hold of in bulk and it'll always make a loss. GE price is 520gp and wine hovers around 50ish gp.

 

I don't know whether you're p2p or f2p but if you have membership and don't mind doing a quest then monkfish are fairly quick to fish and don't burn too much. They need 62 fishing and cooking though, so until then I agree with either wine (for a huge loss), tuna (breaking even I guess) or something like trout or pike, which generally make a loss in the GE but are quite useful for lower level slayer tasks.
