I was just curious as to what the best gear would be. I've read through all the guides, looked at all the gear but they don't seem right.

 

So I guess all i'd like to know is what gear should I use, I don't have bandos, but i do have pretty much everything else, any help would be appreciated :)

Option 1: Prayer gear - largely a waste since the altar is right there but can be good if you use protect prayers rather than bunyip

Option 2 - bandos

Option 3 - void melee + Salve (e)

 

Then you want whip for def or att xp and d scimmy or korsari sword or simialr (eg reasonably fast) for str xp

Thanks :), with the void, I have elite and a deflector. Should i just wear the void and a defender or wear a deflector and replace something else?

Defence isnt a big issue at AZs so i'd say use the deflector then whack on barrows gloves to get some attack bonuses.

 

If they do hit u a fair bit just swap deflector for gloves n take a sheild

deflector definitely + barrows gloves.

Elite void melee w/ deflector, barrows gloves, dragon boots, salve (e), berserker (i), fire cape and chaotic rapier.

 

Or replace the void with bandos + neit + defender if you have very low defence (say, just about enough to wear bandos), can't ss and can't use a bunyip. Protect prayers are a bit of a hassle imo as they drain your prayer quite a bit and you have to switch depending on what zombies you fight.

Haha thank you all, Im just lazying my way to max melees, 97 defence atm just getting 99. Right now I'm using my halo for slowing the turmoil/torso/pro legs/salve(e)/boots gloves ect. But i might switch over to the elite void...

Elite void should be like 5-10% more xp/hr I guess. Less if you use the altar (more recharging) but void is 10% damage, and a void setup would have nearly the same str bonus as your current.
