Maple logs are usually a good flip. Not too much profit, but 100k is better than nothing. buy 1 above min, and sell 1 below max. Buy 25,000 of them at a time. Be sure to look at the graphs on the GE first though, not everything will work out, not even "sure" win situations.

Anyone who knows a good item to flip will not tell you what their item is. The more people there are that are flipping a particular item, the less money each of them will make. You're probably just going to have to try some different things and learn yourself through trial and error.

I rarely flip raw materials they just seem to not work well for me ... I got 3-4 items that i allmost constantly flip when there market is ok : easy 500-600k for around 20M invested daily which isn't bad at all... Obviously not going to say what they are.

Think by yourself and you'll find items where you'll profit about 90% of the time (also check GE graphs).

Just as an aside, the basics of flipping involves you looking at items that are rising in price, buying them barely above min and selling a bit less than max, right? Like flipping never works on items on their way down, right?

flipping works on the way down, as well. you basically make the same margin either way. however, if the prices update during the 4 hour downtime, rising items gain extra profit, while falling items lose profit. conversely, if your item reaches a critical point, a rising item loses profit, while falling items gain profit.

rising items: best to flip if you think or otherwise are reasonably certain that they will continue rising for the near future and/or the ge will update in the next 4 hours

falling items: best to flip if you think there is a reasonable chance the price may change direction and/or the ge will not update in the next 4 hours

It pretty much works up or down, as long as its not crashing/being manipulated, it should be profitable.
