The Void Stares Back

Featured Replies

In the Tips and Tricks section of The Void Stares Back, it fails to mention that Commodore Tyr will allow you to change the color of your Elite Void Armor at the cost of 100k gp after the completion of the quest.

It's the choices made in The Void Stares back that alters armour style. Not the choices in A Void Dance.

Then why does Tyr list all of the choices you've made in both quests?

Never mind, I did choose to turn Grayzag to the White Knights, which would explain why my armor was white. My bad. The second part of my suggestion still stands, then. Sorry 'bout that.

All the choices do effect it.

In the final quest the 3 way choice obv has 1 for white one for grey one for black.

In the previous quest the various choices are white and black (eg soothe bartender or cause him to panic)

Obv in first quest if you go mixture u r likely to get grey.

Gah, now I'm wishing I didn't delete half of my post.

In that case, then the A Void Dance quest guide should be updated in the Tips and Tricks section to mention this as well as the various parts throughout it that say "your choice will not affect the outcome" to something more accurate, like "your choice will not affect the outcome, but will affect your reward in the 3rd quest, see Tips and Tricks for more info" etc.

EDIT: If necessary to upload, I have screenshots of the ending dialog with Commodore Tyr who goes over each decision you've made at the end of The Void Stares Back and the awarding of your armor.

Yeah it does need to be noted in both guides.

But it is still correct the choices in both quests do not affect the outcome; since the outcome is always beating the quest series and acquiring access to elite void and the ability to change its colour.

You can afterwards, but it will cost you 100k. That's one of the things that I think should be added to the "THe Void Stares Back" quest guide.
