November 27, 201015 yr I am looking for some sort of way to monitor my Internet traffic. The graph in Windows Task Manager is not sufficient - it only shows me my total bandwidth, not broken down by process or app. I have something running in the background and it's driving me nuts - kicking in at the most inopportune times and generally slowing me down. I can't figure out what it is. Likely suspects I have ruled out: Adobe Acrobat - automatic updates turned offSun Java - automatic updates turned offWindows Security Center - automatic updates turned off Could be Google Chrome, but I can never catch the GoogleUpdate process running when this is going on.I am reasonably certain I'm not spamming out emails unawares, and there is nothing P2P running. I am on dial-up and this is a HUGE P.I.T.A. I schedule my bulky downloads for when I am eating, sleeping, etc. I don't need uppity apps running on some schedule other than mine.
