First off, this is my first Signature and my First underbanner that I've made, so lay off me with any criticism you may be bursting to aim at me.

The text in both looks too plain.

Big thanks to Stevepole for the signature!^

Yeah, I thought that at first. I suppose a bit more detail to the text could be added, I'll see what I can do when I make my next one.

I'll write up a a long critique about the signature later, but right now i'm just going to say I am surprised you managed to use a C4D and put it on the right setting. What program do you use?

GIMP; I'm not going to waste money on Photoshop (Or download a cracked version) when there is another program which is, in my view, pretty much just as good.

This gives me hope for the world.

To your sig: I think it's a good start, especially considering you didn't copypasta a bunch of C4Ds/fractals in there and just mess with the opacities/modes, it looks pretty good. The text doesn't go with the tag though.

Underbanner: It's good, I think the background doesn't really fit with what you put on top of it... But it does look cool.

Thanks; I didn't spend too much time on the underbanner as this was a re-make for one I did before it; but, me being the idiot I am, I had the text layer selected when I saved it so the image had a box around the text bit... so it failed :P

For your sig: What the hell is that background? It took me a minute to decipher what it was. The C4D is covering it up, and it doesn't look very good. Effect aside, the background, (main focus?) of the eye wouldn't and doesn't seem like a great image to use. It lacks depth and seems hard to put effects around it.

looks pretty sweet i belive i have seen a premade a bit like this before but nice try.

DD, I promise you this has not been made from a preset. There may be a preset of it (Care to link, if possible?), but this is something I made myself.

I can see you have tried to establish flow, but then the background creates a cross hatching effect which doesn't look good...

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

not bad for a first, need to work on your blending more.

try and create a decent clear focal.

Your signature is a very good start. Much better than my first one when I used GIMP. I really like that water/glass looking affect. The only thing I would change would be text (too small and doesn't really fit) and the background image. The background image seems to stick through to me, even through the blue water effect. Try changing the opacity or adding a glowing effect.

Overall, it's really good! I'm impressed.

The banner is good. I can see you used the same effect from the signature. It looks good.
