December 4, 201015 yr I've got an acc with 86 attack, 87 strength, 92 defence, 70 prayer, 68 herblore. Its main items are bandos and d claws. I want to start doing bandos on it, but its stats aren't good enough (I think anyway). I recently got a chaotic longsword, but I don't know how effective it will be with my current stats. Should I get 85+ herblore first or 95 prayer? Should I keep my gear and build up a cashpile, or should I sell bank for one? I have a bank worth of about ~120m. Should I get the money by slaying (currently 82)? What to do? EDIT: Also, should I sell claws back and buy dfs?
December 4, 201015 yr Honestly, no offense, but with how competitive bandos is, you don't stand much of a chance without chaotics and overloads and turmoil =/ Good luck though.... I'd go for 95 prayer first. Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.[spoiler=The rest of my sig. December 4, 201015 yr I believe the priority is ext>turm>ovl, so yeah get ~85 herb first. It's better to sell luxury for skills items since your levels never go away but items can lose value, but whatever you do don't sell claws for dfs (Not only is it a piece of trash it's losing value). http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

Also if you want to include gear+summoning in that ranking its about 88 summ>ext>turm>96 summ>claws>ovl>bandos>dfs DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
December 4, 201015 yr Suggested plan of action: Don't sell any of your gear yet until you can afford 95 prayer without selling your dclaws/any other stuff needed for slayer (like whip/zerker/fury etc but bandos isn't needed for slayer and so can be sold). Train slayer and earn some cash and level up your combat skills on the way, priority should be placed upon getting 99 attack and strength first and then 99 defence after that. Buy 95 prayer when you can and then get back to slayer and then get herblore to ~85ish when you can afford that. The only reason I suggest prayer > herblore here is because you can use both turmoil AND soul split which makes healing on task a hell of a lot easier. Oh and I suggested you dont sell claws cos they wreck when slaying and they're pretty fun/useful for other combat stuff when you get bored of slaying and need to take a short break to k0 some noobs at clan wars :P O, DFS sucks, don't buy it. Good luck :D
December 4, 201015 yr DFS is a luxury item. Certainly useful, just not as good as summ/herb/pray. I piety the fool.
December 5, 201015 yr 85 Herblore -> 95 Prayer -> 96 Summoning -> im just doing summoning first DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
December 5, 201015 yr For slayer, I'd say superantifire (80 herblore and stew) and turmoil. Then just increase herblore until 88, which puts you within easy distance of all melee extremes (and ranged, but you don't use that slaying). Overloads are really only good for slayer if you have 1k+ of them anyway. For boss hunting, ovl is very nice because you can brew easily, and soul split isn't always viable, since you typically protect pray or have lower dps (and thus lower healing) than on a typical slayer monster. At your levels, I'd go for some quests, specifically all those you need for While Guthix Sleeps, but a quest cape would be best (imo, you don't actually need it ofc). WGS offers a 4*100k xp reward which will help you tremendously with some hard/expensive skill.
