Kimberly Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 Hey, tipit guides say that you have to be standing in the Ranging Guild when you make these potions. The in-game description for the task says you only have to be in the seers area. I've tried making it in the seer's bank (With a +5 boost from a stew no less) and even though I successfully make the potion, from normal to extreme as the guides both dictate, it doesn't register. It doesn't even say my progress has been updated when I make the normal ranging potion. Has anyone done this task post-update to enlighten me? I don't want to spend another hour trying to get a +5 in the ranging guild only to find out it doesn't work. (EDIT: please note that I'm talking about a herblore boost here *facepalm*) Thanks. You shouldn't of done it in Seers bank =/ Also, the in-game description says you need 40 ranged, when you look at the requirements; this is a requirement for the guild and NOT for the extreme range in any way. The manual is notorious for having incorrect information and it's not rare to see in-game info be incorrect as well (Dungeoneering Shields, anyone?) It's just a bug with the new task system, that's all. And I pointed out the 40 ranged requirement as further proof that you need to do it in the ranging guild, because clearly making an extreme ranged potion in seers has nothing to do with 40 ranged.
