-- A Few Suggestions --

A have a few ideas that I think people would like if they were used on Runescape.

1. Riding Skill: The higher the level, the faster you go on your horse. Get it high enough and you can ride a dragon!

2. Notebooks: You can write in them and read your notes (I would find this useful 'cos I always forget where rune altars are!)

3. The Sea: Why not be able to command ships?

4. Improved graphics: They are good already, but they could be a little more realistic.

5. More F2P skills! (I won't care when I'm a member though...)

Post back with your comments please.

Merry Christmas!

1) Riding skill - Needs to be more implemented into gameplay before we see us riding dragons

2) Note Books - Great idea, really is great...

3) The Sea - Minigame would be great, I can't see it being very easy though... seeing as trawler fishing is a hard to take care of.

4) Improved Graphics - Only if they made a Higher Detail option...

5) More F2P skills - No, if your not going to pay for it, then just no.

Indeed some good ideas, but mostly they have been suggested before or in the official Runescape forums.

1. No, no, no. There should never be horses in RS. And riding dragons? Come on now.

2. Sounds fine, but why not just open up WordPad and save the file in a folder called "runescape?"

3. Only if it's a mini-game. Most people suggest ships as yet another easy way to get around.

4. The graphics are excellent as is. How much better does a Java game really need to look?

5. No. Please refer to the zillion other posts where F2P people ask for updates. You'll get the idea :)

Merry Christmas to you, too :)

Like someone suggested, use WordPad.

No riding animals. No way. No. Think about the lag.

I've heard about a suggestion on ships that involve defending Miscellania from pirates (after the Throne of Miscellania quest of course), and I thought it was quite good. Personally owned ships though? You got the Lady Lumbridge.

Better graphics on a weak Java engine will knock you off the servers.

You don't pay, so why should they encourage people to not pay? Lord...

Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims.

I think sailing would be good as a quest; I suggested in a previous thread about two minutes ago that there could be a quest in Morton to find a passage to the rumoured Eastern Lands, and you must access this passage by sailing through rocks, dangerous waters and similar obstacles. After that, there could be a mini-game related to it. But as a whole, I don't think sailing should have a huge part in RS.
