December 11, 201015 yr I've always slayed dagganoths in the chaos tunnels or under the lighthouse with a cannon, but I've decided I want to give dagganoth kings a shot. I was reading the guides and topics and forums on tip.it and hybriding caught my eye. Actually, tribriding with a cannon did, but I don't think I have enough finesse to do that yet. I was looking at the setups suggested by the guide, but I am still wondering what I should bring. I was thinking whip and defender, karil's xbox, karil's top, and verac's skirt.I do have a chaotic rapier, but I'm not sure if 5% charge is enough for a task and if I should risk it. Hand cannon also seems like a powerful option, but I am a bit weary of using it with my current firemaking level. I don't know what I should bring in my inventory as well. I have access to extremes (no overlords though), turmoil, pack yak, and eee. When actually fighting the kings, I read that I go in with mage protect on and kill supreme. Then I run east and range prime. Has that changed, or is still the same?

Looking at your suggested items, I see no mage gear.I do have a staff of light and an arcane stream necklace, but I didn't really want to mage rex. It seems that's were most of the competition is and I don't really want to fight for a spawn. I could be very wrong though; if I am, I wouldn't mind trying to mage rex.
