SpikeStr1ke
Title pretty much explain's it. I was just wondering where spec rest's are useful takeing into consideration i only have a dds and KS for damaging spec weapons and EE for a healing spec weapon (although i dont often use this). I cant afford claws at the moment but once i can (since im going to be making a few hundred spec rests and a few hundred super antifires) to get claws? green9090
Some (very rich) people use spec restores constantly on all slayer tasks in order to get through them faster, so they're useful for almost literally every combat situation in the game. Cost effectiveness is a different story, but they're considered very worth it for small teams (especially FFA) and solos at GWD and other bosses. They can also be useful for safe PvP, but since that doesn't generally make money it's hard to say whether that's "worth it." SpikeStr1ke
Sounds good =] reason i was asking is because i've had almost 300 super energy's in my bank for over a year now(since back when they were around 1k ea) and i've got almost 150 papaya's just sitting there that i've collected from my fruit trees so i have the supplies to make them i just didnt know where they were useful. Quyneax
Special recovers are cheap xp, that's why many people have them. I have like 14k doses myself, and I use them on, for example, Bork and the Skeletal Horror. They are also good for pest control (if you were getting void), and really anywhere you use an offensive spec for the heck of it. It's usually not worth bringing less pray/boost pots for more spec, though. Wisky_is_Goo
At barrows with EE they are pretty good. Other than that, without claws, not really anywhere.
Quyneax
Why barrows? One full spec recover heals a maximum of 400 lp, but you'd be better off with a basket of strawberries and korasi's sword/dds/claws. Wisky_is_Goo
Because usually people with spec restores have a large excess of them, and therefore food is technically ( albeit small) waste of money/food/etc. Its moreso for fun to play with than anything.
