Using:Coal bagRune PickLava TitanPenence Horn(Master) According to my calculations ill get 2550 xp per inventory doing Con Coal with Coal Bag vs. 1560 xp per inventory doing Con Gold. Edit: Also just in case u were wondering i already have the coal bag so its not a matter of whether its worth it to buy it or not.

December 19, 201015 yr I think gold is still better. You can superheat it and I think it's actually faster to mine than coal somehow.
December 19, 201015 yr Gold is a hell lot faster than coal (i only ever do coal when waiting for a gold spawn and yeah feels like the turtle mode is on when doing coal)

December 19, 201015 yr Gold is always superior, since you mine it quicker and it gives more experience (What a contradiction). However, keeping a Coal bag with you anyways is a viable option since you can mine Coal when the two closest gold deposits are unavailable.
