Burzuk Posted December 30, 2010 Share Posted December 30, 2010 I've been trying to kill the Queen in the quest The Void Stares Back and i just can't seem to kill her. Is there a special strategy that i don't know about? I'm 120 combat btw, and yes i do know that when she shakes the whole thing i use the special on her, and to attack the defilers, but even doing everything right, i get hit quite a lot. pulli23 Posted December 30, 2010 Share Posted December 30, 2010 The tip.it guide actually says the armour the wrong way round: you should take defense against what tip.it recommends to pray against, and pray against what tip.it recommends to def against. Also:-Standing to the sides means her melee attack won't hit the warriors as well as that the rangers can't hit OVER the queen. (so you can block them behind the queen). When I did these things I suddenly could kill it with ease! First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. JacTise69 Posted December 30, 2010 Share Posted December 30, 2010 I did void + deflector (barrows gloves), glory ammy, dragon boots, berserker ring, and an ardy cape 3. Inv was 5 super restores for prayer with a house teletab (don't bother bringing this though, you can teleport to your grave from sir tiffy so just set your respawn point to fally.) a kyatt with 100 ambush scrolls, rocktails and a tortoise out filled with rocktails. Used protect melee and piety, switching to prot mage when picking up the defiliers, and the second my tort was out of food dismissed him for the kyatt which took down the last ~1/4 health very fast. I did die my first attempt because a youtube vid I had up suddenly blared really loud music which made me jump and alt tab to close it. Bad idea... <_< Good luck though.
