"relaxing" method of training hunter

Hi there,

What is an (easy) and relaxing method to train hunter? - Something a bit more relaxing than catching jadinkos (I'm training myself to rsi there).

EDIT: btw my hunter lvl is 75!

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Umm, barehanding butterflies are supposed to be afkable but I don't have the experience.

I suggest spawn camping chins then if you can't stand the jadinkos. Either way, hunter is all very click intensive, you might just want to go with the fastest method to get it out of the way. That would be salamanders.

PM me in game anytime

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

I honestly can't do that! - If I do those amount of clicks I risk that my RSI which I trained for to get it away will come back completely. It can't be that you're physically non fit to play a game?

I need a method which is way less click incentive: like only having to do a click (or a small burst) every 5 seconds. Hunter is so much of a strain because it is continuasly clicking & always the same movement - for hours on an end. (Whereas I can play a shooter easily for example, as you don't always move the same way).

I feel for you, I really do. It makes my writs hurt too, the only reason I bear it out is when it's a requirement for something else. Honestly though, aside from barehanding butterflies I don't know what to tell you.

Maybe just keep using penguins until you can? Or do the fastest experience possible to minimize total time spent doing the repetitive motions?

I know salamander hunting is less repetitive then box trapping, why don't you try it out and see if it hurts you. It's the fastest exp as well at your level, last I've heard.

Unfortunately Hunter is an RSI skill, that requires constant attention and clicking.

Salamanders you have to drop or alc them and I find this worse than just deploying box traps over and over.

Falconry with bonecrusher, still requires a lot of clicks and you have to aim at small targets meaning you can't be overly lazy with the cursor. You then have to drop 26 furs and go again - also no loot incentive.

Jadinkos - I have recently started to do these and am finally thankful I have a method of enjoying hunter. I find I am able to watch something in side by side window mode and slowly click my box traps and redploy. I don't have to drop anything, nor do I have to bank loot. Every 30mins or so it's broken up by fiddling with the habitat things which is nice aswell.

Butterfly are probably the least clicks per xp - It's 1 click, then your character will try automatically to catch the buttefly and reattempt should they fail to catch it. However not being high enough level I don't have personal experience with this method.

Grenwalls are probably the most click intensive requiring baiting traps - however this is counteracted by the fact you are earning at least 1m/hr.
