If I let my membership lapse for a few weeks while I'm busy, what will happen to my kingdom? Will it keep gathering resources until I run out of money? Will my approval go down? Will it freeze until I'm a member again? Anyone know?

It will keep gathering resources and the money in your coffers will go down. You approval will also go down. It won't freeze until you're a member.

To put it simply: it never freezes

Both your money and approval will drop.

 

Your money has nothing to do with "efficiency" of your kingdom in terms of profit/item. It just impacts your items/day. Your approval will impact your profit/item though.

 

If you will be nonmember for over 1-2 months, I'd take my money out of my kingdom. Your approval will still drop, but you won't waste any money in the process due to inefficient gathering. In reality anything over ~1 month already gets inefficient.

Yeah to add to what Zaaps said., You have to think of Mtk as a shop of sorts.

 

Each resource has a price that workers "buy" it for.

Each day the workers take 10% of the coffers up to a limit of 75k. (assuming you have enough for them to be taking 75k this gives each worker 5k to spend)

 

Now as for approval this percentage dictates how much money workers use to "buy" the resource they work at and how much they "spend" on themselves (eg money tht gives no resources)

At 100% they will spend their full 5k on resources.

At 80% approval they will spend 4k on resources and 1k will be lost into nothing.

Thanks for all of the advice...so, since I will be away for about two weeks, my approval will get down to about 75%...that's not very efficient, so I should probably take my money out before I lose my membership...
