Emp75 Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 I'm having problems with my desktop and i've been told by simply reinstalling windows or restoring the computer to the factory default would fix it. However, I do not have a system restore CD nor do I have a CD to re-install windows. Also, the computer is unable to boot up past the very start (the Gateway logo). How could I go about fixing the computer? It uses Windows Vista. I doubt the specs would help, but if you must know, I guess I can get them. Sbrideau Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 If it boots up until just after the logo, it will be able to read the CD.
