SoulQuester
Ok let me start off by saying I had gotten 2 worm viruses found and removed on my computer earlier in the day. if this isnt the right section than crucify me. Ok so I got home from school and got on my computer and went browsing for a sec, I was going to do a farmrun than get on to my school work so I went to runescape.com and I recieved this error 'internet explorer cannot display webpage'. I said what the hell and check my connection, it was decent but I reconnected anyway, Still got the same error. So I deleted all my cookies files history, cleared my cache, and closed internet explorer and tried again to recieve the same error. than I tried to get on my runescape Swiftkit and couldnt get on rs there. So I turned off my computer and waited a minute and once logged on I STILL recieved the SAME error. Now I was able to get on funorb and on my account there, and I was able to get on my rs account via friends computer so I know that Jagex didnt ban me/IP ban me and that its a problem simply with my computer. I downloaded firefox and I STILL COULD NOT GET ON. So I went on my computer options, looked through everything for any hints to see if my computer just didnt like the rs site or if it blocked it accidently and I gotten nothing. Rs wasnt a blocked site and everything appeared to be 'normal' So I dont know what the deal is. My possible explanations is that the worm viruses somehow screwed me from getting to any site who's title has 'runescape' in it OR Jagex IP banned me but I doubt this one. Any other hints? any explanations? Yes I tried to contact jagex but I cant lol because funorb doesnt have a link to simply Email to contact and I cant get on runescape forums to see help and I wont have access to another computer in awhile. Thank you, Please help. Quest Cape flier.

Sbrideau
There are multiple reasons it can do this, but the fact that only Rs is blocked suggests that you might have tried something against the game rules. Can you let us know if there is an entry for RuneScape in your Hosts file? You should be able to open it using notepad. If there is an entry, can you let us know what it is? You can find the file at the following location: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
obfuscator
I've never heard any jagex banning anyone from their site by IP.... You can get on any other website, can you? Sbrideau
You can find the file at the following location: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etcOr more accurately, at the following location:%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts It's the same location in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, so what's the point in putting %SystemRoot%?
