yuyu13
So, I'm thinking about training up my agility, possibly with the use of the penance horn. On a rough Estimate, how long would it take to fully charge a horn using world 6 and given that I have little experience with the game? What are the differences between the penance horn and the master penance horn as applies to their use in agility training? That's all I can think of at the moment. Any advice is much appreciated. foursideking
Master penance horn charges last longer. My advice would be to spend a day filling it, then spend a day at ape atoll. I did, and got 65agil on the 2nd day...starting at a measily
Quyneax
First, get the master horn, it's quite worth it. Then it'll take you 10 full queen runs to fill it (approx) but doing wave 1-6 and resetting is faster. A full runthrough is 40+ mins with randoms I think, 30- mins with pros. Zaaps1
doing wave 1-6 and resetting is faster. This is news to me. I understand the reasoning behind this, but do you have any proof that this is for sure better than doing full queen runs? ~It's Super Effective! Quyneax
I got no proof, really. The reasoning is that each wave offers the same amount of charge and the lower waves are faster. I think that thought is again supported by how score doesn't seem to affect horn charge. Then again I just hear these things from other people . yuyu13
Wow, that's a lot shorter than I thought it would be to fill the horn. Gonna have to fill it twice to get to 85 agility, but that's still less barbarian assault than I thought it would be. Thanks.
foursideking
believe it or not, killing the queen actually earns a bonus to the charge, equal to 3x what it normally is. If you're gonna charge it, get a pro team like I did and just burn through it with ease....

If that were true, then you would have to do the lower level waves much faster to make resetting before 10 better. ~It's Super Effective! foursideking
Me and my friend did tests a while ago...we each did 20 waves, same horn/role. I went through the full thing twice, he repeated the first level 20 times. We then trained agil until the xp ran out. After 4 hours, he ran out of charge. After 5h 35min, I ran out. Need any more proof?

I'm guessing doing waves 1-6 might be a balance between time spent resetting and the longer time spent on higher waves.
Quyneax
I guess it is. Waves 1-6 are very fast compared to the queen wave. People also do 1-6 for charge then 7-10 for points if they want rewards (which is also a compromise).
