February 3, 201115 yr What is the best rune to craft as a free player? Not just for experience but for money as well. Some people have been saying air runes, some say water runes, and others say fire runes, but which is really better? Right now i have about 16k or so rune essence and about 2.6M cash, and I am going for around 50-60 runecrafting, while also hoping to make a bit of cash, even if it's not much. I just don't want to lose out on cash. Right now I am only 15 runecrafting. Anyone have any suggestions? *Note:* I won't be P2P anytime soon either! -Arcane Fae

February 3, 201115 yr they meant that you are the one paying the runners.Personally whenever I train Runecrafting i'll either run my own air runes or buy the fist of guthix gloves for earths and run them. However i've never been one for efficiency (and hence this advice should be taken lightly.)
February 3, 201115 yr Earths with the earth runecrafting gloves is really good exp. But, it heavily depends on if you enjoy FoG or not. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.
February 5, 201115 yr Author I really have no experience in playing FoG or GoP. That's why I am very hesitant about playing either, because the last time I tried I really didn't know what I was doing. Plus the people that play get pissed if you don't know what you're doing, and they annoy you like crazy. (At least any time that I've tried to play.) -Arcane Fae
February 5, 201115 yr I'm doing Varrock East Bank to Earth Altar over and over atm... without gloves, but the profit is there, and the walk isn't long. Plus I can break the monotony and cut a yew tree on the way back. Current Aim: Runecrafter Robes -sigh lvl 50 RC-
