I have a few friends missing journals.

Also, there apparently are at least 20 misc journals.

But Jagex seems to have censored most of the content on them.

So info on them is pretty hard to find.

 

So I'm looking for 2 things:

 

a) A list of which floors players received various M and Thok and Misc journal drops in.

b) Information on Journal 19

I have journal 18, so it's definitely available on floor 57 or lower. I don't recall the exact floor which it dropped.

But personally it dropped from a monolith room shade.

I have friends who have gotten it from other monsters though so it's probably not a monolith room exclusive.

This journal reads as follows:

 

Dear Acolyte,

It is with great regret that I write this letter. You have been with us now for a number of years, and your service to our cause has been greatly appreciated, however your time with us must come to a close. We hope this decision will not sway your faith, or upset your memories of this place you called home.

We wish you every success on the road ahead, for we know it will not be easy. Please know that we will ve thinking of you and praying that you find purpose in this world and the next.

A final name said he got a the drop somewhere between floors 52-54

it's called "a letter from brundt"

 

To our most noble visitor, allow me to thank you for rescuing our brothers from the demon halls. We dont know what possessed you to venture underground, and our seers are unsure how you passed the protective barriers, but your help in our time of need shall not go unoticed. after discussing your courageous deeds with the council, it is with great honour that i welcome you to the fremenik. I am proud to call you brother.

 

I witnessed your bravery and now understand that this place, which many now call daemonheim, is more than we alone can handle. As i return to our home, word has been sent to adventurers all across gielinor. We hope that with their help and yours, we can drive back the taint within. and so my brother, i must ask one more thing of you... that you might accompany these warriors into the dungeon. Be their guide. then maybe they too will surivive the deeper floors and put an aend to the source of this evil. Please accept these furs, helm and boots, and may the god that has protected you until now remain vigilant in the days to come.

Might be legit, might not be.

The token is clearly a fist of guthix token though, which fits the lore.

 

 

 

but uh yeah, some ppl still missing things like M and Thok 3.

It'd be nice to know if that drops from say, a frozen floor or a furnished floor, for example.

They mostly show up at random, there is no set floor number they appear on.

I don't think that's the case.

Some journals seem only retrievable on certain floors.

The mysterious chronicles can only be dropped on certain floors (2 for each chronicle), don't know about the others. To clarify, are you asking for M and Tho journals 19 and 20 or mysterious chronicles 19 and 20?

I'm randomly missing M & Thok 4. I have access to f58 and still don't have journals 19, 20, or chronicles 30.
