So, I assume that a majority, if not all of you dear and helpful members of the Tip.it community know that Free Trade has been revived and staking along with it. Hoping to get a slice of this pie myself, I will take venture into staking, however, seeing as I have never staked before, I am not familiar with staking terminology, staking types, techniques and etc.

I am maxed combat with access to somewhat decent gear and all chaotics. What type of stakes should I be interested in, what rules these particular types of stakes usually have, what methods/techniques should I consider and is there any scams/glitches/exploits should I be on the lookout for and how do I identify them?

Any help is greatly appreciated in advance!

Thank-you,
Crazykid

crapier staking: all armor, food, drinks, movement+special attacks off.

DDS staking: all armor, food drinks, and movement off.

boxing: all armor, weapons, food, drinks, movement, and special attacks off.

mage boxing: all armour, weapons, food, drinks, movement, range, melee and special attacks off.

Kinds of staking you should be considering at your level.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Dds staking is all sol and vesta longs now. There's a glitch with sol spec so Id avoid that.

They're adding a no-degradable weapons choice soon iirc, so that will eliminate rapiers, vls, etc.

Thats it? Just no degradable weapons? How about an option like "no staff of light"?
