Trainrek
Hey guys, after 3 years of no RuneScape at all I decided to give it another chance.. :thumbsup:But unfortunately I forgot the pass of my main (I think this is good, it makes me want to re-learn everything and hopefully become a better player) Here's what I have so far:Pretty sexy eh? Bearing in mind this is meant to be carved into a main.. it was initially meant to be an obby pure but the I remembered how cocky and stuck up pures are so I ditched that ideaJust from chopping yews from 60-70 :) (Also, when I realised obby capes cost 40k I was like ) So, what do you pro's think I should do? I really want to make some friends and become a part of the community again, including this forum.RuneScape has changed so much since I played last, (WILDY AND FREE TRADE BACK? \:D/) and I really need some help reintegrating. If anyone wants to hang out and help me that would be great :) On another note, WTF is dungeoneering and what are "charms"? once again many thanks :) -Trainrek
JacTise69
Dungeoneering is a new "skill" that rewards you with tokens on a 10:1 ratio for exp rounded down. These tokens can be used to purchase game breaking rewards in the form of new weapons that make an abby whip look like a piece of floss and other things such as new prayers/ways of decreasing the cost of leveling herblore/and a bag that can hold 100 uncut gems. Charms are drops you can receive from monsters after completing A Wolf's Whistle quest. They are used in training summoning which while generally useless at lower levels also has gamebreaking mechanics in the form of a way of banking away from a bank, ways of increasing inventory capacity, fighting familiars, and familiars which heal you. (familiars are the things that you "summon"). As to what you should be doing.... Hard to say, I would start with aiming for all stats ~50+ and all the beginner/easy/intermediate level quests done.Farming specifically is worth getting to 38 ASAP for farming toadflax for ~100 k profit every hour and a half. Edit Welcome back to your unhealthy addiction, we've missed you! Edit again... http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=quest_experience_guide.htm Consult that before leveling a skill to see if you can get the exp from a quest first. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=new_members_P2P_guide.htm Some limited useful info in that link as well. Quyneax
I'd get all quests done you can (hint: not many) then go for all stats to 10, all to 20 etc. Every now and then check to see which quests you can do and finish them. potatohead
Random side note, (which I'm surprised nobody has added): there's a price check feature now. Press that button: And the magic happens: Thought it should be mentioned regardless. I'm back from a bit of a break myself. Best of luck to you.
