Purplez
Hello Tip.it, I am new(ish) to the p2p scene, and I need some help determining what to do. I was a member a fews months back, and I only played for about a month, or enough time to do a few quests and level a few member only skills. Recently, with the free trade and wilderness update, I am returning to Runescape, and I am really lost. I want to make some money, but I also need some direction as to what quests I need to do, what I need to level first (to make money and then to raise combat). I eventually want to start levelling DG (because it looks freaking awesome), but I don't think my levels are quite good enough yet. LitterBug
I would probably start off leveling all the skills - you should probably start with magic/farming. Magic is nice since you'll get a lot of teleport skills and it'll just save you time in the future when you're questing and what not.Farming is not a very time intensive skill (what I mean is you only need to go on a 5 minute farm run then come back in 75 minutes and do another one) and it's pretty decent money as well. If anything, you could always use the herb for herblore. For now, since your combat isn't really that high - you can buy gold bars off the GE then make gold bracelet which you resell on the GE. Doing this would net you about 120ish k gp in an hour as well as ~25k crafting exp depending on how much attention you're paying. If you don't want to craft - just steal from master farmers. It's a pretty good way to level up thieving and once in a while you'll get some nice seed which will sell for a handful. The seeds you don't use can always help you in farming. foursideking
Quest quest quest. Or wait, get every skill up to at least 20 (cept dungeoneering), and then hit every quest that you can start. Quests offer good all-around xp, and give you access to plenty of nifty shortcuts/items.
Quyneax
Get dungeoneering up for sure, at your stats the chaos druid resource dungeon is some decent gp. It also helps to have at least a bit of a level when spending xp lamps/tears/pengs. Get all quests done, get all stats to 30, do all quests again, get all stats to 40 etcetera. Jaffy1
You may want to have a look at this guide for some basic info. It mentions some basic quests as well. As far as money goes, with your current stats you don't have that many options.Mining pure essence and killing chaos druids generally are okay methods of money-making for lower leveled players though. I would recommend you take up farming, which also has a few quest "requirements" to do it properly (mentioned in the farming guide linked). Once you reach 32-38 farming herb runs will provide some nice money for minimum effort. Tip.It Website Crew Leader[hide=Quotes]I love it how Jafje comes outa nowhere and answers my questionsHehe now we know what real life does...drugs, drugs, more drugs.
