Toad Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 well yes i'm still not very good at sigs and i need to know how to make this 3d, so anyone help me out? i'm going for detail once more, and this sig im pushing myself some more, what ive done so far is the start on a Dragon rock, its going to have a miner near it shocked, and pkers will be approaching, in the bottom right im going to have a crater spitting out lava and the setting it the wildy any cc's so far welcome, im trying lighting effects on paint and other stuff but how do i make it 3d? i was thinking to ask it early on is a good thing SUGGESTIONS FOR SIG/BG WELCOME OR CC guy being dragged added Mage added with someone he is dragging with entangle Man complete pickaxe has glow from the rock Update Man Added Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aldeon Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 3d is all about shading Shading/lighting gives the illusion of depth on a 2d screen and perspective is really big too as in closer things will be shaded different and be bigger, farther away will be smaller. Quer_Skulll Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 well the gems are good.. but well the you've gone all wrong with the rock, ill give my twist to it with an explenation as soon as i've finished it. first of all you've gone wrong with the textures for the rock.. for it lacks texture. the gems do not give such lighting as you depicted, it's more local and dim. your hue's are not to great and you lack depth.. in certain area's to which it fails to be 3D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
