To a certain extent yes. From the way i understand it (and i may be wrong) is that as long as were not directing our profanity towards another player its perfectly fine to swear.

Rules still apply. Just because you can turn it off, do not going around cussing at every person you can. I think it was meant more for people that actually know each other and accept the use of profanity. If you are offended, you can keep the filter on.

 

In other words, still choose your words carefully.

You can swear in a non offensive way ('[bleep] I just died) but not to be offensive to others ('Suck my [bleep] [bleep]ing noob [bleep]'). As long as you don't have the maturity of a 12 year old you should be ok :P
