Best friewall/anti-virus?

Featured Replies

I am using Comodo firewall and Avast anti-virus, I am also using Spybot search and destroy for spyware. Is there any other programs I would use as well/instead of them? I am asking because my laptop is just over two years old and it's getting slow and I was told by a tech guy in my college that having the both of them can slow down my computer and my Internet access. So is there anything else I could use? Thanks

Jesus Christ, can't you just admit that you're wrong?

Cause I'm not wrong.

Use Comodo Internet Security, ie Firewall + Anti V :-)

In my opinion get rid of Spybot and use Malwarebytes instead, I've never even heard of this Comodo one either.

+1 for Malwarebytes instead of Spybot S&D.

Comodo is still in the good firewalls and Avast is still in the good antiviruses.

If you're behind a router though there isn't really a need for a software firewall.

Microsoft Security Essentials and Malvarbytes should do the work very well!
