I currently have:

40 ATT

83 STR

1 DEF

72 HP

 

Working on getting:

83 Range

which would put me at 58 Combat since I'm taking my time with Soul Wars

 

I've read that Range/2H is a nice combo in F2P, but I also read that it's wise to get defence and prayer later on. Would these stats fare well? At what combat levels should I start thinking about getting defence?

I haven't PKed since Runescape Classic, so forgive my cluelessness please!

 

Also, I've completed absolutely no quests on this account. Would this put me at a disadvantage if I wanted to become a P2P PKer with the cookie-cutter 60 ATT build?

your account right now would be pretty good. If you plan on getting something like, 70 99 1...then get prayer if you're still F2P. If you are P2P, you want defense later on, and prayer. You can't really wield anything good without doing atleast lost city except dClaws

but yeah keep 40 attack if youre planning to f2p pk. if youre getting a gravite 2h, 45 ofc.

 

best setup for f2p is a solid range/2h method, so high range/str and standard att lvl.

 

prayer is mostly pointless til you have a bit higher stats. unless they spam overheads in f2p wild, but you can always train later.

Great stats for f2p, Prayer is useless in f2p unless your like 100+, You would make a pretty good mauler also, You could get 50 attack pretty quick with a few easy quests, Vampire slayer, waterfall quest, ect....
