Staking is the best way to earn gp. Yes it is all luck, and you can be lucky more then once, there is always the one off chance that you can beat a player with better stats then yours. If you do this once and double your cash, then fight someone with lower stats and double your cash again, your looking at a big profit. So I cannot see how "Staking is not a good way to earn gp" and it dose not take capital to earn capital. You can start with 500k and leave with 20m gp. I have done it numerous times. As you said it is all luck, and ofcourse knowing when to stop. Also, I forgot to add that first hit has a major factor in winning stakes. You wont win everytime but you certaintly have the advantage. Also in boxing your varying your attack style can give you an advantage as each style adds I think 3%, So if your opponent is using strength kick, use defence punch, if using attack punch use kick, If using defence punch use attack punch. If that makes any sense. It seems to work sometimes, mass clicking your opponent after changing styles seems to work also. So yes it is luck but the player can change the outcome.

Would be half decent, if your stakes were 10m+, pretty much lame profit doing 100k stakes. And you should be knife boxing, not armour hiding.

Against pures you'd be better off with a 20 attack 80 strength 60 defence account :) But then mains would completely own you. I have been training and staking a bit, Im currently 60 att 45 str 60 def, 60 hp, 53 mage 42 range, Level 64. I have made about 10m from boxing, not much because not many people boxing at this level, all of them range staking, So im looking at training range to 70+ also to gain Hp levels, then ill probally raise def, and range/melee box.

Hay, Im currently in the process of making a new box staker. Just need a little advice in tips for training/stats/quests. IGN- BOXlKXZllZ7Xl Currently going for 40 defence. Aiming for 60 attack 45 strength 85 defence

Not bad stats, I have similar but with 99 strength, to be honest its not really that good, you just need higher hp and maby defence.

I know this should probally be in advice or something, but it never gets views nor replys. I have a lvl 89 with 92 magic and 55 def. I tried Mage Staking for the first time. I Started with 4m cash and within 3 stakes was up to 12m. Then straight back down to 0gp. I kinda failed at it hard not knowing really what I was doing. Can anyone please post some tactics, like what spells to use and when. I was mostly using blood barrage and blood blitz. I have 88 hp 55 defence and 92 magic. Should I be mage staking at all?

EDIT< Scratch that. Need advice on mage staking, or making a new staker. My hybrid currently, Combat level 89. 72 attack 75 strength 55 defence 45 prayer 92 magic 92 ranged 88 hitpoints 1 summon Would this account be able to mage stake efficiently? or if not can someone post some stats, thinking of making a new little staker.

Not bad stats, you could build a great pker off those stats. Compare to my hybrid which is un-completed but still pretty lethal. Its lvl 89 72 att- 76 str- 55 def- 45 prayer- 92 magic- 92 ranged- 88 hitpoints- I use void and darkbow and rush and pj people because im sad, But if your looking at actually fighting people I'd suggest 94 magic for vengeance,70 defence or 75, range level of 90+, prayer of 52-80.

Great stats for f2p, Prayer is useless in f2p unless your like 100+, You would make a pretty good mauler also, You could get 50 attack pretty quick with a few easy quests, Vampire slayer, waterfall quest, ect....

When did I start playing- Many years ago in runescape classic, yes when you had to use sleeping bags. I have [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] and bunny ears on my oldest accounts. Best Pk- Years ago in classic I pked a yellow party hat. Recently: Whips, Full dharok and pked Dragon Claws on my hybrid. Current Clan- I dont clan, Solo all the way. Teaming is weak.

Dose Jagex have a system that can tell if an account has been logged in for X amount of hours, for instance if an account has been on for 60 hours flat, is it not surely a Bot? Or just an ice addict.

It is possible, ofcourse if you really do have no life, and you have dedicated your life to this game. I dont see the point though, why would you want 1 million other people thinking your a no lifer? 99 firemaking to me is just pointless, let alone gettin it maxed.

If what you say is true then Jagex would never have removed the wild and free trade. The "benefits" to Jagex via bots do not outweigh their damage to the company. Jagex stated that they had a large legal issue with people botting, to be precise people who botted buying membership on STOLEN credit cards. Regardless, I highly doubt the vast majority of members Bot, so to say Jagex depends upon their existence is absurd. This thread is about preventing bots not why they should not be banned, please stay on topic. I never said that Jagex depends upon their existence. Nor did I say that they should not be banned, get your facts straight befor quoting me. Jagex needed to re-introduce Free Trade and the Wilderness. If you search the internet you will find thousands apon thousands of private servers. Look how many people voted for the return and look how many people are currently online and one time. Jagex was losing money because of the removal- This is totally off topic. But its replying to your off topic post.

I love these threads, It is not my idea and its among many other forums for many of years and not just in this game. I just like to see the funny stuff people come up with. So ill start off with: You know you've been playing RuneScape too long when, You make threads like this. You start saying "Lol" instead of laughing. Theres a fight in the street and you run in and scratch one of the guys and say goodfight noob.

And it takes alot of resources to watch these accounts more closely, meaning its costing Jagex more money. Bots are a revenue for Jagex, as you may of seen most bots are members. Jagex knows that the return of wilderness and free trade would introduce more Bots into the game, but hey they focus on the players that play the game honestly. There is no stopping it, only reducing the problem. Bots are getting more advanced and undectable and there is no way Jagex can really combat it, without forking out a fist full of cash.

Do you even play Runescape? Starting out with 3-5 mil should be fine, just find the right items, I can't deny that it is very hard, but well worth it. I started with 10 mil and the pile is now at 70 mil, in 3 weeks. I could be even more productive if i found myself more items, but school takes time so I'm happy with what i have now. The good thing with flipping is that its very relaxing, no schedules, use chrome runescape extension to check if your offers are through, log on, tele to g.e, update offers, log off. Takes 3-10 minutes, PM me if you go to school and want VPN (runescape and spotify for instance) access, i can give you it for free, for uknown time. Hmmm that sounds pretty darn good, but I have never been a mercher. Im going ok with thieving very slow after 80 but Im making OK cash. Only need enough for claws then Ill make my cash rushing. BBK says monkey knifes are 300k an hour? I make roughly that an hour anyhow. One torstol is 355k, or snapdragons at 55k.
