Blyaunte
Okay – so I've just finished getting 99 Herby (was only going to get 96, but hey, bxpw came along and I had enough stuff for 99 ), and now I think the next step to becoming a "badass boss killa" is to get my Dungeoneering up ... Here's my stats: Yes? No? If so, where can I find a "definitive" guide to Dungeoneering? And yes, I know there's the knowledge-base and RS Wiki, but what I really want is a guide that actuall explains this [cabbage], not some discombobulated collection of wild opinions and Jagex's "doublespeak". My own preference is not to rush Dungeons, and I am not much use in large groups – mainly because (a) I don't really know a lot about Dungeoneering and (b) my computer is positively lag-happy everytime I get into a dungeon with three or more people in it. -.- Your advice would be gratefully appreciated ... amitoz
Do it with friends to avoid killing your computer/keyboard/house/sibling/carpet/loved pet/self. Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price. Blyaunte
Do it with friends to avoid killing your computer/keyboard/house/sibling/carpet/loved pet/self. I've only one friend who actually "likes" to DG, but she's the "do it all to max her own xp" type. Which means that, while she's dragging in huge XP each floor, I am not getting very much. She's also not very good in the communicating aspect of the game.
Quyneax
If you wish to rush but have no experience with it, you should try DGS. If you do not wish to rush you could advertise some no rush dungeons in w117 or 148, but expect bad performance. The Ancients guide is good (It's in general guides) but outdated, his combat mechanics guide is also worth reading. Bassy has a good dg guide, and Rocked wrote up some tips as well. LitterBug
All you have to do is search up "dungeoneering guides"Shift through the threads that you find. http://forum.tip.it/topic/289716-dungeoneering-boss-tactics-updates/page__p__4766547__hl__dungeoneering+guide__fromsearch__1#entry4766547http://forum.tip.it/topic/285628-dungeoneering-tips-and-tricks/page__st__20__p__4763715__hl__dungeoneering+guide__fromsearch__1#entry4763715http://forum.tip.it/topic/286936-how-to-kill-dungeoneering-bosses-wip/page__p__4733607__hl__dungeoneering+guide__fromsearch__1#entry4733607 Most of the stuff is not too hard to figure out.You already have 71 DG - you should know how to solve most if not all the DG puzzle rooms I would probably go to DGS if I were you - you'll pick up some little tricks like what monster is weak to what type of style, what's an efficient way to gatestone, etcMost of it is practice - at lvl 71, you should be pretty capable of handling yourself in a DG

"Prestige" being one of them for sure. I am totally clueless about that aspect of the skill. I'll take a boo at the links you posted -- thanks for this. As I said, my biggest stumbling block to group/team dunge is that many people makes my computer come to a screeching lag-fest halt. It's brutal. Yes -- I know -- a new computer would be helpful. I may wait till I can get that first. If anyone else has more input, I'd be glad to read it. Thanks. <3:

Thanks. <3: There are 2 averages for your base xp given at the end of a dungeon. 1 is the dungeon itself, which you cannot control (well you can, by choosing the dungeon, but based on prestige, this is unimportant); and 2, is prestige. Prestige is determined by how many floors you had completed once you decided to "reset". Resetting marks all floors as incomplete. Therefore once you do all the floors you can, you reset, to retain highest prestige, and therefore getting highest xp you can possibly get. Hope this helps. The lag shouldn't be that much - it should only come with the opening of a new door (at most it should lag for a few seconds if that)I seriously doubt you need a new computer.
