Dungeoneering update question

Ok, soi want to do dung floor 40, but i have already done it. How does it work with new update? Do i get exp for X dung that got checked or what?

 

Example, i do floor 40 again with a friend, but floor 39 gets checked for done and i get exp for that? How does the system select what unchecked floor to check instead of floor i have done already?

Its very simple:

 

If you have already done that floor a different floor will be ticked but ONLY within the same theme, (so if you do a frozen floor it will only tick off a frozen floor).

If the floor it ticks off is HIGHER than your current floor, you get xp for your current floor (so if u do 37 and it ticks 39 you get floor 37 xp rate)

If the floor it ticks off is LOWER than your current floor you get xp for the lower floor (so if u do floor 39 and it ticks off 37 you get floor 37 xp rate)

And I'm not 100% on this but it seems to basically just pick the lowest un-ticked floor for that theme. So if you did 2 - 4 and then did 8 repeatedly it'd tick off (in order):

8, 1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11*

Then it'd hit the cruddy xp as theres no more it can tick off

 

*I'm having a memory fail whether floor 12 is frozen or abandoned, if its frozen it'd be added to end of lsit.

It's a bit unclear as of now as the data we have gotten is a bit inconsistent, but you get a little more xp for doing f40 for f39 than you would for doing f39 for f39(the prestige xp is higher, base the same). But then you do a lower floor for a higher floor(can only happen when you have all the lower ones done) you will get the right amount of prestige xp, but the base(lower number) will be that of the lower floor, thus you lose alot more xp that way than you can gain by doing higher for lower(prestige is almost constant and changes little, base changes ALOT depending on the floor).

Not really, as the advantage is small. You gain a much bigger advantage by doing certain floor for their bosses(most ranks in dgs like doing occoults as all 45+ as yk and spoiler are the easiest bosses), at the same time, as not alot of people that too high dungeoneering level and the first 4 warped bosses are much easier than the last two, alot of people do warpeds as 48-53.

 

Also, most people skip all the necro floors(i think they are like 38-40) because necro is a much slower boss than all the others unless you have a hex, and then you should still do yk and spoiler.

Mhm i think i choose floor 35 which was unchecked. When dung was done i got 27K exp (1 death) and table showed "Floor 37 done" ....

 

Perhaps i chose f37 floor instead of 35 by mistake. Oh well.
