What is the correct timing for flashing, piety, soul split and turmoil?

 

As in, in what tick do each of the prayers need to be activated to work? I was told this once, but I can't remember, really.

If you could answer as in "when the animation starts" when the hitsplat appears" it would be a little easier to catch.

2 ticks before the hitsplat appears

For all of the three prayers?

 

I think I remember being told that SP and turmoil had different timings. Might just be my bad memory though.

I had heard that too, but after testing around a lot I've decided that's bogus. I definitely hit higher and more accurately when I set soul split and turmoil to the quickpray and 1 tick flash it in dungeoneering.

 

The timing is precisely when the exp pops up on your xp counter, which is also precisely when your attack animation starts.
