April 5, 201115 yr So, after maxing melees through slayer, I want to do the same for range. Really dont like the idea of chinning/camping anywhere and I like the variety of slayer too. Obviously I cannon every task possible, and ex range pot too. Working on CCB asap before I seriously get into it So a few questions:-Are curses better to be on or standards? OR is it better to switch depending on certain tasks (I dont have rigour)-Are there any tasks I really should always cancel or block on kuradels list? I'l be unblocking aquanites (yes it was stupid to unlock them in the first place) and giving them a try again.. probably. April 5, 201115 yr Don't unblock aquanites. Use rune knives with a cannon in kuradels dungeon for as many tasks as possible. Nechs are worth chinning. Standard prayers are better for rigour/eagle eye. Tasks that are high defense like mith drags should be canceled/blocked if you refuse to melee them. However because you are maxed melee miths and the like will go relatively fast so I would say melee them for a change of pace from range slaying. April 5, 201115 yr Author I should add that I'd be getting ccbow anyway for armadyl and such (and perhaps nex in the long run) so would that make a significant difference to make the high defence task nicer or not?I'd be fairly partial to just mage/rapier through the metals tasks though for the speed and ease of it. I've found in the past rune darting greaters/hellhounds in kuras went amazingly well (though perhaps itd still be better to cannon hhs)Are there any other tasks that rune darting/kniving works especially well on? April 6, 201115 yr Well if you have a ccbow you probably wouldn't be using it overly much anyway, for slayer. All you could do with it would be mithril dragons. For steels, I think arma + kxbow + fero is still superior.
