In-Post Image Uploader

Featured Replies

Is there any way to allow users to upload an image on the posting screen? I know that we have the gallery to upload pictures to, but having an image uploader in the posting screen would be a convenient option if you ever want to use an image in the spur of the moment. I know that it's just a few extra steps to visit a site such as tinypic.com or photobucket.com but as I said it would be convenient if an uploader could be implemented.

I would love something like that, but I have a feeling it would be a lot of work and would need a lot of decisions such as how long to keep images saved for, image limits etc.

Big thanks to Stevepole for the signature!^

I think PoorLepRecon was talking about having a way of uploading to tinypic/imageshack within tif so you don't have to go to the sites themselves. If this is what you're talking about, this would be 100% awesome and helpful.

I know of a few forums that have a built in image uploader. You just grab the image off the desktop and there it is, ready to go. Would be awesome if we could have it.
