I think it'd look better if the menu button was at the bottom. Music is on one side, but it's counterpart on the other side is unfilled, maybe use that instead of a side? I think it'd look more aesthetically pleasing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why a seperate menu for positive and negative effects? Just add a scroll bar to show more than 8. How many is it possible to actually have?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The on screen alerts. I like the idea, perhaps they should fade then unfade every few seconds so they catch the players attention?
