You can runecraft mixed runes, kind of complicated, but nobody really does it. Check tip it's rc guide on it. That or buy a mud staff, which gives both water and earth when you cast spells. (;-)) heh, i only got one green, but i know that'll never be true one thing of interest to me is the treasure trails, they were always my favorite part of ranging drags. are there any changes or new items to look for? the newest i'm familiar with is guilded armor and god pages Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ephphatha Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 I stopped playing about the same time as you, came back just afore Xmas. There's a massive new area under karajama volcano where you can get the fire cape, obsidian gems, the obsidian sheild (same stats as granite but +5 str to boot) and apparently some maul. There is also a new mage training area just north of the duel arena building (Literally, its about a 30second walk from the bank chests). Barrows has come out, yet to try that. Acient magicks are out, yet to try those as well. Farming is out, looks to be alright for herblore. Whips are the new hotness now, and with the amount of xp you can get with them its crazy. Dragon Scimitar has been released. People are using dragon scimmy or whip and excalibur for training now, as the dragon scimmy spec stops people protect praying, and the whip drains energy. New prayers are out. Smite, retribution, and... some other one. One of them deals damage to nearby enemies when you die, one heals you if you fall below 10%hp (Drains all your prayer though) and smite takes prayer off equal to 1/4 of the damage you deal while you have the prayer on. Oh, prices. Treasure trail stuff has gone down alot. Phats have gone up, ALOT. Law runes have dropped quite a bit. Dragon chain prices rose then fell again, are apparently steady at about 20m each. Dragon axe has come out too, pretty rare. New rings boosting range, magic, attack or strength are out as well. Boots up to rune are out, not many people seem to bother with them though. Dragon Dagger Super poisen is the new hotness too. Many more potions have been added. I think I've missed alot though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MPM Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 Well well, welcome back! I dont play anymore cause I really cant stand RS for more then 5 mins, but I hop on and off occassionally. Umm... I cant think of anything that is really fun to do in rs now... I liked the mage training place. And there are places where you can single click thieve now. Guess thats all...
