Effective room clearing

I'm looking to find a guide on efficient room clearing strategies for high level dungeoneers. I've read obtaurian's 3rd bind guide, and have a promethium platebody bound until I can find something better (probably the primal gaunts). I have a primal battle axe/ssh bound currently but i may change it if I find 2h's are more effective.

I know how to dungeoneer- I'm simply looking to become more efficient at it (:

If such a guide exists could you please direct me to it? I'll be surfing the net after posting this to try to find one- but I trust tip.it more than a random guide from zybez etc.

The priority depends on both the gd and the team.

In general - get the necro/mages/shades first

Some people would rather the CSB go for warriors while others take care of the mages

Then the baxes go for low defense monsters like zombies while the 2hs go for higher tier ranger/mages and skeletons I believe

I know the basics. I attempt to keep them in mind while dg'ing but nobody else seems to be doing it. They take out the shades/mages and then it's random. Is it really that much faster to split off and use your weapons strengths? and turmoil flashing is supposed ot happen all the time ? Without running out of prayer? I suppose I'm a little rusty dunge'ing. I'll go back soon- I hope to have made myself better at it when I return to it ((:

TBH, turmoil/piety adds a bunch to your dps but I'm not sure how much people actually do it.

It's also good to pile high levled monsters together rather then to split off to save prayer.

However I tend to see that many people pile extremely low leveled monsters and that just wastes time.

This isn't much help - but if you lurk in the DGS thread in the H&A, you get to learn a lot

A lot of the "how to get dgs done faster/how to maximize dps questions" are asked there and it's nice cause they actually go by research rather then what they feel is "right" during gds

In general, if you have a weapon that's much more powerful versus a certain enemy, then that's your priority, e.g. hex vs t11 mage (if there is a hex with you, you should ignore mages). On the other hand, if it's something like baxe + 2h vs dragon (with no hexes on the team) you just want to take the dragon out, and that becomes a priority even if there is a shade the battleaxe will have better dps against. And of course if you're hooded, ignore hoodsafe monsters. So it's a bit of a balance between damage taken from monsters being alive longer, and kills being faster because the best weapon is used. I'm pretty sure it's a large part experience.
