Troll Bomber Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 I am looking forward to getting 80 hunter tonight and unlocking draconics. I had a few questions: Are zamorak favors worth the time to unlock? I don't have a problem trying to unlock them, just wanted to make sure they were worthwhile. If so, what's a good inventory set up involving arctic bears/favors/and hunter jujus that would allow me to camp there for the longest time? Does the witchdoctor gear give a boost for 30 minutes (Re-equip every 30 minutes)? I read somewhere that the clothes only give a boost for 30 minutes once you catch all 10 regular jadinkos and cash in your xp reward each week, but wasn't sure if it was true. Are there any other tips & tricks regarding hunting draconics that might be of use to me? I plan on starting these at 80 and doing them till 99, so I want to do them efficiently, thanks. Leik Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Zammy favors are definitely worth getting. I'd recommend getting at least 100 of them when you can. They really speed up the whole process. When I did 99 hunter, I brought 5 traps, 3 Hunter juju's (4) and 6 zammy favors (4). Also bring 5 Arctic bears and 1 summ pot and some coins in case of a random steals your traps. ;) That should allow you to last for about 2 hours. You can of course bring few more pots and bears, but instead lose out on some seeds, but that's just up to you. As for the 30 minute boost, I believe it only lasts for 30 minutes after you claim your reward, then nothing more after that (until next week, of course). Not completely sure about that, seeing as I never used the boost. You might also want to look into scentless potions, but I personally didn't bother since it filled up my inventory (I like to collect the seeds). Leik Posted July 13, 2011 Share Posted July 13, 2011 I like to think of them as a small bonus to your exp. I believe you catch 1 common jad every 5-6 draconic jads (on average). I'm not getting any hints as to what I've gotten right so far either =/You'll be told when you have 2+ combinations correct for the certain god jadinko you are attracting, the tree is the same for all three of them. The easiest way to get the two correct is by planting a flower and then going through all construction choices, then planting another colored flower and doing that with all three flowers.
