I'm making a guide on curly roots for firemaking primarily, but also woodcutting.

 

If anyone has done any tests regarding XP/hr, I'd gladly appreciate that.

 

Also, I'd like to know all the factors involved whilst training here. So far, I've listed:

• Inferno adze - burns curly roots while chopping them - IMPORTANT
  
• Flame gloves - increases XP per root burnt
  
• Ring of fire - same as above
  
• Tinderbox - for creating the fire pit
  
• Karamja gloves 3+/Witchdoctor mask - to easily get there
  
• If they get there using a witchdoctor mask, they should clear the roots in front of the tree inside of the lair which decreases the time taken to get there and the potential damage taken when crossing the stepping stones
  
• On another note, couldn't they just take a gnome glider to get there faster, too? (lol)
  

 

If anyone can provide XP/hr rates and tell me of more factors, I'd strongly appreciate that.

So far, with 83 woodcutting (the minimum requirement), I could get around 300K XP/hr in firemaking. Not sure about woodcutting, though.

I heard someone say 60k woodcutting xp/hour, but don't quote me on that. I might get around to testing if I get around to starting my woodcutting this week. If I do, I'll let you know, but it depends on if I get bored of fishing or not.

I'd say Gnome glider is by far the fastest way to get there.

60K wc experience per hour? Maybe. I got substantially lower, but mainly because I was burning curly roots and straight logs at the same time.
