Sy_Accursed
For anyone who doesn't know cinemagraph is the name given to partially animated photos created from a video file, but intended to be viewed as a photo. Bit too colourful to work ideally (hence some flickering), but quite pleased for a first attempt.Any thoughts or feedback? Unhesitating
I don't know much about them, but it looks really interesting :o
Duff
Looks cool. My only comment is that the pendulum swings farther to the left than it does to the right. Kinda irkin' me. :P | My Tumblr |
Sy_Accursed
That's how the pendulum swings, its an odd old clock. The clock face and body don't even line up right; if you hang the body straight the face is slightly twist to the right (so twelve isn't quite at the top) Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
stevepole
I've been seeing put up a lot recently on some sites I visit. There are a lot of really unique ones out there that just kind of make you stop and stare for a minute.
Sy_Accursed
I have my tripod and cam set up waiting for my cat for ideal shot for attempt 2.She often sits on living room window sill at one end looking out over our garden and swoosh her tail with the occasional ear twitch.Wanna try and get a wide angle of the window and leave in her tail swoosh and ear twitch, grey scale it cept maybe pick out a few flowers in garden. It's a really cool effect when you get it right, hence my experimenting with it; I think it works better when the movement isn't the core of the image (like in the above shot im aiming for where it'll be small bit at one edge). Clock just happened to be an obvious and easy shot to grab for learning the method. The more I watch it the more it's bugging me there's a weird discoloured triangle to the right of the pendulum and it jumps slightly because clouds shifted halfway thru so a reflection of my tripod slowly appears then vanishes when it loops to first frame. Humus
The first one's great! I like the second one too but the colours are a bit too funky for me. I think it's best to go full black or white or full colour. :) Resources / My Photos / INSPIRATION BLAWG
