I thought the same. Was the perfect action movie. I also thought it was hilarious how it seemed like Keanu had to shoot everyone in the head, even the dudes he shot multiple times in other places. I've seen a bunch of movies but I don't remember all of them. However, today I went and saw McFarland, USA in theaters. Great movie. I'd definitely recommend it.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Duff replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
Still really into Smite. I've never played a MOBA, and LoL never appealed to me. But the third person aspect of Smite is really cool imo. And the game is getting to have quite the player/fan base. There's a World Championship at the beginning of next year with a $1mil + prize pool. If you start playing, let me know, and I'll add you. Here's a link to download the game. Haven't really been watching many games. I know quite a few have come out. Advanced Warefare bores me. Think I'm done with COD games. MCC has been having a rough start with matchmaking so far, so I haven't seen much content for it. -
Here are a few videos that I thought I might share. The first is the Halo 2 Anniversary documentary which I really recommend hardcore fans to watch. It amped me up and made me quite nostalgic. The second is a lower budget, privately edited documentary by Zola going over Halo 2 back in the day and how it grew in the competitive scene. Haven't finished watching it all the way through, but it's pretty good as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9-Wk_R3SPw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-Xccpdiu0o Halo Master Chief Collection comes out on the 11th for the Xbox One. I personally don't have an Xbox One, nor can I afford it at this time. But I'm hoping a neat bundle and holiday special will come around for Christmas so I can get the MCC and an Xbox One. Halo MCC is the only reason I would buy the Xbox One at this point. Not interested in any other big titles. I've already seen some gameplay for Halo 2 Anniversary, and it looks fantastic. The graphical upgrades look amazing. For not having the console required to play it, nor having the game itself pre-ordered, I'm pretty damn hyped for the game to come out. Anyone else excited?

I've seen a couple new movies that I thought I'd write about. John Wick. Friend wanted someone to go see it with, so I offered to go with him. Hadn't heard anything about it, didn't know much of what it was about. It was a pretty badass movie. Keanu kicked some major ass. One thing my friend and I noted was how much he liked shooting people in the head. He shot so many people in the movie, and about 90% of them he made sure to get em right in the dome. Was awesome. Was entertaining for a revenge story. Thought the motive was a big trivial for the amount of violence that occurred. I'll give it a 7/10. Fun watch. Probably not with watching in theaters. Nightcrawler. I don't really want to say much about this movie. Jake was a [bleep]ing creepy as dude in it. The character he played had a personality type that I absolutely despise, no joke. Again, my friend wanted someone to see it with, so I said yes. Would have been perfectly fine not seeing it at all. It had an interesting subject matter, though. And was well made. Just not my type of movie. INTERSTELLAR Holy shit. One of the best movies I have EVER seen. I'm tempted to talk about it, but I feel like I would write waaaaay too much. Never been a huge fan of Matthew McConaughey or Anne Hathaway, but they did an fantastic job in this. Big thumbs up to Christopher Nolan. Plot, graphics, actors/actresses, music (Hans Zimmer shines again) - EVERYTHING about this movie was good. It does deal with some concepts that I don't think any human can comprehend, but the movie does a good job at trying to imagine how certain things may be. Perfect 10/10 from me. You HAVE to see this one in theaters. I'm going to see it multiple times as well as buy it on DVD when it releases. If any of you've seen it and have something to say spoiler-wise, I'd love to hear it. :)

Watched Noah. My dad watched it with my mom in theaters and they hated it. But they take religious movies very seriously. I went in only wanting to be entertained, so I wasn't expecting the movie to follow the Bible story very well. But honestly, what the [bleep] did I just watch. I don't think there was a single thing I enjoyed about that movie. Special effects were sub-par (with quite a few scenes being extremely visually unappealing), the story was unbelievably stupid, and just the cinematography in general. I have no idea how this got 77% on rotten tomatoes. I give it a 0/10, which is hard considering I liked much of the cast. I'll hide the rest cause there might be spoilers: [hide]The whole movie I was thinking what the hell was the script writers/screen writers/director thinking when they were making this movie. This dude and his army are going to try and take over the ark? Good thing its defended by these horrible "fallen angels" which look like stupid rock golems. OH, and the leader of the bad guys actually makes it on the ark and with the help of one of Noah's sons, lives there for 9 months without being noticed. Give me a break. And then Noah is going to murder his daughter's two twin girls? Good lord. Oh, and if the movie couldn't get any worse, once they reach land, Noah becomes a [bleep]ing drunk and isolates himself from his family? I think the only word I can use to describe this whole movie is ridiculous. I tried to respect someone's imaginative interpretation of the story, but simply as a movie, Noah sucks some major ass. The story line was idiotic. Anyway, I'm done ranting.[/hide]

Watched Captain America 2 for the first time. I really really liked it. Lots of action, Captain was a badass, as well as Agent Romanov and Vulture or whatever his name was. Some cool twists which made me glad I watched the first last night to refresh my memory. I'd give it a 9/10. Way better than X-Men and some of the other movies that came out when it did. I think the title of the movie was odd. But any other relevant titles would have given it away. Wonder what they'll call the next one. [hide=Spoilers]Scarlet was mega hot.[/hide]

This is what I'm dealing with at home. This is even after my little brother who was also wired into the modem left for college. It may be time to reset my family's router. If that doesn't improve anything, I'll be pretty angry. I don't think it's ever been this bad. EDIT: I just ran it again. This time, 2672 ms ping, 0.09 download, 0.42 upload. Holy shit

So I applied to this job that is busy work stuff in a lab (testing urine samples for uranium and stuff), and the job requirements said high school diploma and a high school level Chemistry class. I applied because I haven't been able to find anything in an IT department and I'm tired of sitting on my ass. Let's just say I felt like I was waaaaay over-qualified for the job. My younger sister has worked there and she's a sophomore in college and says that people work there who literally haven't studied the sciences much at all. Got an email today that said I didn't meet the requirements for the job. I triple checked, and there's literally nothing in the job description I can't do. I could do that shit without four years in college. So I guess my self-esteem took a big hit. If I can't even get a job like this, wtf am I supposed to do...

Watched Blade Runner for the first time last night. a) Harrison Ford is so damn young it's weird. b) Very confused with the music throughout the movie, especially the saxophone. c) The plot was classic sci-fi and posed a very solid question. But the way it was executed was rushed and kinda lame. But I kinda expected that from a 1982 movie. I'm just glad I can say that I've seen it now, since I'm in to sci-fi and Blade Runner was one of the first big sci-fi movies.

So I saw Guardians of the Galaxy on Satuday. It was fun. I didn't like it as much as I thought I was going to. I guess I over-hyped myself. Maybe I'll like it better the second time. Also, with regard to TV shows, I started Scrubs on Netflix since I finished up all the episodes of Psych that are on Netflix (unfortunately season 8 isn't on there). I'm liking Scrubs a lot. Just the right amount of humor for me.

Been getting into Smite. Still learning how to use the controls before I try and play against real people. I'm having fun. I'll probably be switching between Smite and CS:GO depending on how I feel. -
I just went and saw Lucy cause my older sister wanted someone to go with. This has got to be the worst movie I have ever scene in theaters. DO NOT GO AND SEE IT! 1/10 Gets 1 point because of some of the visual effects.
