How to train cooking

So, I'm currently going for unlocking all effigies by myself, and currently doing cooking...

Currently level 83 and doing swordfish on the cooking guild range with cooking gloves.

 

Basically I'm just wondering, when can/should I jump up to the next fish (sharks?)

At what levels should I be cooking what?

I think at like 90 you don't burn Sharks anymore with gauntlets. Until then, use Swords.

As a general rule of thumb, it's never worth it to cook anything but wines. You will be very well served making the money beforehand and leveling the skill fast instead of wasting alot of time getting free xp.

I agree with xpx wines are definitely the way to go though perhaps you could switch to rocktails when you no longer burn them. Although isn't cooking paired with Firemaking? In which case unless you are going for all effigiy skills rather than just opening your own effigies I would train firemaking a more useful skill to have at 90+ (handcannons) as though cooking is assistable your not gonna find many people requesting it because so many people have the skill level to assist it and many have it themselves. Though I might be misremembering and cooking is not paired with firemaking in which case: :oops:
