Training Crafting

I'm 71 crafting at the moment (lol lowest skill), how do you guys suggest I should train it? I'd prefer something rather cheap, yet decent for XP

 

Any ideas?

Air bstaffs are generally the most efficient for almost all incomes.

 

Sometimes certain d'hide bodies are more efficient at high incomes, and due to price fluctuations.

Sometimes certain jewelry namely diamond jewelry actually make reasonable profit.

And clockwork cats sell for a surprising amount of money, but the xp rate is really bad and you obviously can't do this in much volume.

Just bought the daily dosage of battlestaves, don't like crafting with d'hide and diamonds aren't selling at market.

When I got 70 crafting for VSB I cut emeralds it was about 5-6gp/xp at the time and around 300k exp/hr. So fairly expensive but pretty fast experience. I think if you settle for sapphire you cut the gp/xp by about 2 and the xp/hr by about 60k. I'm not exactly sure what the gp/xp is now I'll check.

 

EDIT: According to the Grimy's incredibly useful sheets cutting emerald is 8.09gp/xp now which is a bit more expensive so maybe not as worth it as it was but still less expensive than Blue d'Hide with only a slight loss in xp/hr.
