July 19, 201115 yr As a recruiter, I've noticed there's quite a few people who post on super old topics. In the Looking for Clan section, this doesn't particularly make sense. People post to find a clan and typically find one within the month (maybe two max). I'd just like to suggest that topics older than two or three months get put in an archive (or deleted I suppose?). Since these forums don't count post count anyway, deletion shouldn't really affect much. There's posts dated back all the way to 2009. I think it'd help to keep the Looking for Clan forum current. It'd help us recruiters quite a bit and keep the forum tidier. Thanks!Ava <3 EDIT: It doesn't seem like you guys archive anything.. ever. Is that true? If so, why not? ♥ A v a .
July 19, 201115 yr The TWR board is archived frequently. And archiving isn't exactly necessary in most of the forum because posts aren't deleted after x period of time. As for the rest of your clan suggestion I can't comment on, I'll leave it to clan staff/clan community members to give their opinions :P BTW as a clan official (You said you were a recruiter?) you can apply for Clan Official status and get access to The Conclave, where other clan-related suggestions and involvement would be welcome I'm sure
July 19, 201115 yr First - what kim said. Apply for the conclave! Secondly - we usually don't archive stuff because we like people being able to see it. However, in this case, seeing as it is very time-sensitive (aka no longer relevant after a while) I wouldn't be opposed to having an archive for old looking for a clan posts.
