When I was testing out my new whip in castlewars, I notices saradomin's team holding their flag like always... in the last place I would have expected.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Y' know, when Jagex said that your flag would go back to your post if you had hold of it when you were in your castle, I would think that would include the walls, too... :roll:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seriously, though, I think if you're holding your own flag, you shouldn't be able to have 30 people gaurd you for the whole game... it should have a two minute timer like the safe room, dontcha think?

Lol not really... I don't care weather I win or loose, but I do care when somthing a little less than fair is going on. Yes, the game before my team was gaurding the flag, but not on the friggin wall! :?

:roll: Thats the price you pay for losing their flag. I'd also like to add that if you go on your walls, you can't leave the walls for the rest of the game without losing the flag so you could just ancient mage the flag holder from a distance and make him drop it.

*AHEM* I have the right to pray, teleport, use potions, Log Out, hold the flag on castle walls, or anything else you might whine about. If it's a legal advantage, i'm going to utilize it, because so do most people. Does that make it fair? Not necicarily. However, if you don't like it, you sure are barking up the wrong tree. Hey, if it helps any, I'm right there with you in that the whole "other-team-holding-their-flag thing can get irritating at times, and even seem unfair. But, like you say about other "unfair advantages" in the game, it is part of the game.

They don't catch it inside their caslte. They catch it outside, somebody ropes the castle wall and they climb up.

The flag is supposed to return to the stand if it is with-in the castle grounds.

 

 

 

The wall is part of the castle,yet the flag dose not return.

 

 

 

That is not ment to be part of the game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also,it is not entirely fair, you'd need a team of 10 lvl 120+'s just to get the flag back.

personally i think the flag should return to the castle room after 30 seconds if the opposing team doesn't touch it in that time period.

 

 

 

for example: if zam gets sara flag then gets smoked and sara recovers their own flag zam has 30 seconds to kill the sara that picked up the flag. if they dont then they lose the ground that the original zam covered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

largest reason i think this is i believe it will "speed up" games and make them more fun. the fairness factor would just be a nice bonus. it is just horrible when sum1 with ice barrage has the flag and just freezes every1 after him/her. you cant really get much fly-by damage especially if the game doesnt have many players
