Camping Abby Demons with Yak

Featured Replies

How much cash per hour can I expect camping these and should I piety?

If its average money I'll stick to white berry picking which is about 750k/h or look for something else (please suggest)

The drop rate is around 1:500

Without being on task, you'd be pushing 250 an hour

A whip is like 1 mil?

White berries will profit more

keep in mind that you cant exactly camp them for the whole time, you will have to bank eventually because you kill the abbys faster then you can use scrolls to bank all the ashes. it's quite a hassle.

other then that, i think your guesstimate of 750k p/hr for picking berries is about the same as abby demons. but when slaying abby demons you'll have more chance of finding a rare or row-drops (noted battlestaves, herbs, bolts, saradomin brews, etc.) then with picking berries, and if you're planning to kill loads and loads of them, in the end you'll earn more money at abbys then whiteberries.

just my 2 cents,

You have access to a yak, why don't you do something better such as Tormented Demons?

Anyway, i'd guess that abyssal demons would be better in the longrun because you will get ancient effigies and charms (Assuming you're not 99 summoning) and the ashes really add up. If you ever find that you're getting them faster than you can scroll bank, you could just scatter them. It would eat into your profits a little and isn't the most effecient way for prayer experience, but it would enable you to stay there indefinatley and the prayer experience would certainly add up. (Again, assuming you want prayer experience and aren't some sort of piety pure)

For pure monetary purposes, i'd say they're almost equal, with berries possibly being slightly more and much less luck reliant. (Although good luck finding an empty world for an adequate period of time.)

250/hr is too high, especially including banking etc. I'd say 220ish. The profit is pretty low as you make only 2.5-3k per ash, and some 2k from a whip per kill, so you're talking 5k per kill not considering rapier recharge, pray pots, boost pots, yak pouches and stuff. But it does beat whiteberries.
