You must be in the Black Arm Gang, and you need a combat partner in the Phoenix Gang who can cast teleport grab.

 

Basically the Phoenix Gang partner does his share of getting the shield, then after getting the weapon storage key, simply telegrab the two crossbows and trade them to the Black Arm Gang partner. This basically allows skillers to complete said quest without gaining any combat experience.

How is this a correction?

The tip.it guide covers how to complete the quest and has no errors or mistakes in it.

It's up to a skiller to fathom how to remain as such not for tip.it to clutter up guides with random notes that don't contribute to the primary purpose of guiding how to complete/use the content.

I agree with this, tipit shouldnt include all kind of ways for pures etc. It would clutter up the usefull guides.

And besides, isnt it easier to use a ring of recoil to kill the lvl 2 man if you are a phoenix member? (you would have to be member though)

I don't think it'd be possible to do this as a pure - unless using recoils as Wisse mentioned. You need to kill the guard, but even if that was not the case, you'd also need level 31 magic to perform the telegrab spell and that in itself would prevent you from being level 3 would it not? Regardless, there are often many ways to complete a task/quest, I think maintaining the most effective and efficient method to use helps keep things simple. This is my own personal opinion, of course.

^To add to the above, assuming said skiller is f2p, would it not be easier for a skiller to join the other gang, and kill the level 2 Jonny the Beard? That would be possible without directly gaining a combat level.

 

I think that, with the above raised points, it is reasonable to conclude that such a note isn't necessary in the quest guide. Thank you, however, for your submission Martin.
